About the lecture 
The Antwerp Queer Arts Festival is entering its fifth edition, each year we have programmed both local performers and international talent within a variety of art forms: music, literature, film, dance, theatre, expositions, performance. Collaborating with academia and activists, the AQAF creates a space and a platform for people to express themselves and to meet others.
This year’s festival takes place August 2nd to 12th at different venues in Antwerp. At our festival hub — Het Stadsmagazijn — you can have a drink and get all up to date info on the program.

The World Bank has donated Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) to the Kumasi Business Incubator (KBI) Centre of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to sponsor young innovative students with business ideas. The money which came through the Ministry of Communications is to help the KBI Centre further its aim of supporting student entrepreneurs. Professor Kwasi Obiri Danso, Vice-Chancellor, signed the contract for the money on behalf of KNUST. Prof. Obiri Danso expressed his gratitude to the representatives from the World Bank for their noble act.
