T he University of Maryland, Eastern Shore (UMES), USA, will assist Technical Universities to revamp the hospitality and Tourism industry in Ghana through a capacity building programme. The programme which includes an exchange of staff and students, is aimed at tackling the shortfalls in the sector. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between UMES and Accra Technical University (ATU) together with other Technical Universities and Polytechnics at the Accra City Hotel on Thursday 8, June.
